Ways to Leave A Legacy

Include Us in Your Will or Living Trust

Add as little as one sentence (often referred to as “bequest language”) saying you want to support Mission: Cure. With the help of your estate planning attorney or a will-planning website, you can give a specific amount of cash or securities, a piece of property, or a percentage of your estate after taking care of your heirs. The amount can be defined as a:

  • Dollar amount or percentage of your estate or trust;
  • Specific asset, such as a home, rental property, share(s) of stock, or portion of an investment portfolio; or
  • Remainder of your estate after all other beneficiaries have received their
    inheritance.

Below is some language that you can use to include Mission: Cure in your long-term estate planning. We always suggest that you talk to your CPA, estate attorney, or wealth advisor when making important decisions like these.

I give and bequeath to Mission: Cure (www.mission-cure.org) the sum of _____ [written amount] dollars ($__________)[numeric amount] as an unrestricted gift, to be used at the sole discretion of Mission: Cure.

I give and bequeath to Mission: Cure (www.mission-cure.org) the property known as _____ [address], parcel number _____ [from deed or tax records] as an unrestricted gift to be used, or sold and proceeds used, at the sole discretion of Mission: Cure.

I give and bequeath to Mission: Cure (www.mission-cure.org) _____ [written amount] percent (_____%) [numeric amount] after all other beneficiaries have received their inheritance from my estate.

Name Mission: Cure as a Beneficiary of Your IRA, Retirement Account, Life Insurance Policy, or Annuity

Contact your retirement plan administrator, insurance company, bank or financial institution for a Change of Beneficiary form. (It may be on their website.) Complete and sign the form, listing the percentage or dollar amount you would like Mission: Cure to receive.

Please let us thank you!

We would be happy to work with you on making a long-lasting impact through your estate plans. Please contact our Development Team at development@mission-cure.org anytime to explore options or share your intentions.

We thank you for your trust and investment in Mission: Cure’s collaborative, focused approach to effective treatments and, ultimately, cures for debilitating diseases like pancreatitis.
