About Mission: Cure

Mission: Cure is a nonprofit that drives innovative research to cure costly diseases with poor and inequitable patient outcomes. The first disease we are tackling is chronic pancreatitis, a disease that causes excruciating pain and has no cure. Our nonprofit was co-founded in 2017 by Megan Golden and her brother, Eric Golden, after he was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis. Linda Martin, a veteran technology entrepreneur, joined shortly after. We work every day to find effective chronic pancreatitis therapies and improve patients’ lives.

In our first six years, Mission: Cure has helped launch clinical trials, developed a plan with pancreatic experts from the world’s top research and healthcare institutions, partnered with impact investors to discover life-altering therapies, and supported the pancreatitis community through our network of resources. We are an alliance of patients, caregivers, doctors, researchers, drug developers, and entrepreneurs pioneering a new approach to curing diseases through innovative outcome-based financing.
